The Washington Commanders are bringing the thrill of the NFL to the UAE for the first time with their Kullna Commanders Watch Party on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Stars ‘N’ Bars, Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi.

Part of the team’s efforts under the NFL Global Marketing Program, this event marks the Commanders’ first in-market activation in the region, inviting fans of all ages to experience American football like never before.

Based in Washington D.C., the Commanders are committed to growing the game internationally and building a passionate community of fans across the UAE. Their “Kullna Commanders” message – Arabic for We’re All Commanders – reflects the team’s belief that everyone has the right to belong.

“As the Washington Commanders continue to expand our global presence, we’re thrilled to begin this next chapter in the United Arab Emirates under our banner of ‘Kullna Commanders’ – Arabic for ‘We’re All Commanders.’ We’re incredibly proud to host our first-ever activation in the UAE as part of the NFL’s Global Markets Program,” said Ben Cobleigh, Chief Growth Officer of the Washington Commanders.

“This milestone marks an exciting step in our international growth journey as we share the energy, passion, and tradition of the Commanders brand – and the spirit of American football – with the UAE community. The UAE’s position as a global hub for investment in sport, innovation and community makes it the perfect place to introduce Commanders football, and we look forward to building a vibrant new fanbase that will be part of the Commanders family for years to come.”

What to Expect at the Watch Party

The event kicks off at 4pm GST, with the live game broadcast from Madrid starting at 6:30pm GST across more than 75 big screens.
