The Baltimore Ravens will hit the road to visit the Cleveland Browns for a crucial divisional matchup. John Harbaugh’s team doesn’t have any margin for error after a tough start to the year, and the Browns have only won two games this season.
However, while everybody will be focused on winning, we can’t blame Mark Andrews for having his own agenda. Apparently, he has a big chance to make history on Sunday. According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, he’s just a handful of yards away from becoming the franchise’s all-time leader in receiving yards:
“History awaits Sunday in Cleveland: Mark Andrews is four yards away from breaking the Ravens all-time record for receiving yards that Derrick Mason currently holds with 5,777. He also is seven receptions away from breaking Mason’s all-time franchise record of 471 catches. Last week Keenan Allen became the Chargers’ all-time franchise receiving yards leader. This week Andrews gets his turn,” Schefter posted on X.

Andrews’ rapport with Lamar Jackson has always been on point. While he hasn’t been as big a factor for the passing game this season as he was in the past, he used to be his preferred target down the middle of the field and in the end zone.
Some might remember him for the late-game blunder that cost the team the season, but he’s given the organization way too much in the past to be remembered solely for that.
Andrews has always been one of the most productive and underrated pass-catching tight ends in the game. He’s going to face a stout Cleveland Browns pass defense that will make him pay and fight hard for every single catch and yard.
But with the Ravens as 7.5-point favorites ahead of kickoff, it seems like oddsmakers expect him to have plenty of opportunities to move the chains on Sunday afternoon.
