Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey was ejected from the Cincinnati Bengals game after punching wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. The Steelers entered Acrisure Stadium set to take revenge on the Bengals after losing their first matchup of the season in Week 7.
At 13:28 in the fourth quarter, Ramsey and Chase exchanged words before the former Jacksonville Jaguars, LA Rams and Miami Dolphins player grabbed his opponent by the mask and threw a punch at him. While Chase didn’t retaliate, referees watched the sequence closely.
Jalen Ramsey was called a unsportsmanlike conduct, offsetting. He was ejected from the game and the Bengals were awarded 15 yards.
The drive continued for nearly four minutes and resulted in a 48-yard field goal from Evan McPherson to cut the Steelers’ lead to 20-12.
Chase and Ramsey are two of the best players in their position, and they have a similar desire to win. It’s unclear what was said before Ramsey got physical.
